SMS Consent & Opt-Out Policy

What is NexJob?
NexJob is a field service management platform used by HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lawn care, and other trade businesses. When you provide your phone number to a field service business that uses NexJob, that business may send you SMS text messages through the NexJob platform. NexJob operates as the technology provider — the field service business you are working with is responsible for obtaining your consent to receive messages.
Consent Is Optional
Consent to receive SMS text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from any business using the NexJob platform. You may choose not to receive SMS messages and still receive service. If you do not opt in to SMS notifications, the business you work with can communicate with you via phone call, email, or other means.
Types of SMS Messages You May Receive
If you have opted in to receive messages from a business using NexJob, you may receive:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Technician dispatch notifications and estimated arrival times
- Job status updates (technician on the way, job complete, etc.)
- Quote and estimate delivery with a link to review and approve
- Invoice delivery with a secure payment link
- Payment confirmations and receipts
- Follow-up messages for unpaid invoices
- Review request messages after a completed job
- Responses to inbound SMS messages you initiate
How SMS Opt-In Works
You provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS messages directly to the field service business you work with — for example, when you book a service, fill out a contact form, or speak with a technician. Opt-in is always presented as an optional checkbox that is not pre-selected and is not required to complete a booking or purchase. The business using NexJob is responsible for collecting and documenting your consent in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable regulations. NexJob requires all businesses using our platform to obtain proper consent before sending SMS messages to their customers.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. You may receive one or more messages per service appointment. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. NexJob does not charge you for SMS messages — any charges are from your mobile carrier.
How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time. To stop receiving messages:
- Reply STOP to any message you receive
- Reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE — any of these work
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent to your number from that business through NexJob. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and honored automatically. If you change your mind, you can reply START to re-subscribe.

NexJob operates the following phone number for business SMS messaging: +1 (877) 257-5502. Messages sent from this number are on behalf of field service businesses using the NexJob platform.
Privacy
Your phone number and SMS message content are processed by NexJob and our SMS provider Twilio, Inc. We do not sell your phone number to third parties. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Regulatory Compliance
NexJob's SMS messaging operates in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable U.S. carrier requirements. All SMS campaigns are registered under 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) brand and campaign registration as required by U.S. carriers.
